New-run defaults
Applied when the Control Center creates a fresh simulation. The current run is unaffected; tune it live from the sidebar.
Default city
Picking a city also adopts its recommended demand, same as the Control Center switcher. Cities imported from OpenStreetMap appear here too.

Random seed
The engine is deterministic: the same seed, city, and incidents replay identically. Change it to explore different traffic patterns; keep it fixed for reproducible experiments.
Map display
How the Control Center map looks when it loads. Both can also be toggled on the map itself.
Basemap
Real-city networks only; Gridville renders on a plain canvas.
Congestion heatmap
Show the heat overlay as soon as the map loads.
Keyboard shortcuts
These work in the Control Center; press ? there to bring up this list anytime. Incident keys need a road selected first.

Workspace & local data
Your runs and scenarios are private to this browser through an anonymous workspace id, so no account is needed. Other browsers (or incognito) get their own workspace and only share the seeded examples. Clearing site data starts a fresh workspace.
